1. Consultation and Brief
The design process starts with a consultation and site visit to identify your requirements for your garden. Getting a feel of the existing space, your style. From these conversations a client brief is created.
2. Site survey and analysis
A professional surveying company would be appointed to prepare an accurate survey of the garden. This will measure the precise boundaries, existing house and garden buildings, shrubs and hedges to be retained.
3. Design Concept
The brief and survey will be used to create the proposed outline of the garden design illustrating ideas for your garden. Amendments to the design and budget breakdown discussed and explore options and cost of elements such as paving, garden features and planting
4. Technical Design
The concept design is developed into the final design with adjustments made. The final design is prepared to scale including the specifications for the hard landscaping materials, features and structures.
5. Planting Plans
Planting plans can be produced in addition to a technical design or solely for redesigning of borders. Planting plans show the location of the plants and schedule listing the names, sizes and quantities used for costing.
6. Tender and Build
The tender package is sent to the contractor to quote, working with a range of trusted contractors to build your design. We offer the option of regular site visits to monitor progress, respond to any changes and ensure the project is built to plan.
